A multi-purpose silicone release agent made of a blend of silicone oils and resins in a convenient aerosol spray can. Pol-Ease 2300 is an effective release for most Polytek products but should not be used before pouring or brushing liquid silicone mold rubber - in this case Pol-Ease 2500 is the proper choice. Brushing out the release with a soft brush can improve results.

When using as a sealer for polyurethane mold rubbers, it is recommended that Pol-Ease 2300 be used in addition as a release agent over the Pol-Ease 2350 sealer. In any case, the mineral spirits carrier in the Pol-Ease 2350 should be allowed to evaporate leaving behind a thin coating of sealer/release before applying liquid rubber. Use of a soft brush to evenly distribute the 2350 can improve results.

A fast-drying, silicone-based release agent in naphtha which can be brushed or sprayed. Since this is a silicone release, it is recommended for use with polyurethane liquid rubbers but not for use when making silicone rubber molds - in that case Pol-Ease 2350 or Pol-Ease 2500 would be better choices. Pol-Ease 2450 is FLAMMABLE.

Water soluble coating for use as a barrier coat on certain rubber molds to reduce resin attack on the mold. Can also be used as a removable sealer on porous surfaces. Release agents such as Pol-Ease 2300 should be used in addition before applying liquid polyurethane to a coated master or before casting liquid plastic into a coated mold. Available in clear or green colors. The green may stain some porous surfaces.

A water soluble, film forming coating useful as a barrier coat on certain rubber molds such as Poly-Fast 72-40 to allow resins to be cast in them without sticky surfaces. While Poly 74, 70 and 71 Series molds do not cause sticky surfaces on resin castings, PVA may be used as a barrier coat in some cases to prevent resin attack on the mold. Also may be useful as a removable sealer for porous surfaces alone or in conjunction with paste wax. The green film of PVA can be washed off with water. Clear PVA also available.

Water-base emulsion of silicone oils and resins. When used with our Sure Shot Atomizer or other spray bottle, Pol-Ease® 2601 is an economical alternative to aerosol release agents. The use of a soft brush to distribute the release agent evenly and reduce drying time may improve results. Pol-Ease 2601 should be evaluated as a release for casting plaster or concrete into polyurethane molds.

A high-performance silicone-free release agent for use in polyurethane molds when casting concrete or plaster. Apply very lightly with a sprayer or brush. No drying necessary before casting.

A release agent designed for use with Barrier PF. Used primarily when casting PolyFoam R-8 or other Poly plastics into silicone molds.

A bulk, fast-drying, lacquer-like primer that is sprayed into a silicone mold or a polyurethane mold coated with PolyCoat and allowed to dry before pouring plastic or foam. A low-cost, air-supplied, paint spray gun assembly is required for proper application. Once dried, this barrier bonds well to polyurethane foams and plastics so cast parts have a pre-primed coating upon demold. The barrier coat also helps to extend the mold life of the rubber mold itself.
